A year after A Guilty Conscience became the first Hong Kong film to pass a hundred million at the local box office, its screenplay was published as a book. The launch was a talk and signing at 大南天梯 on Sunday 23 June 2024, from three to five in the afternoon, with forty seats.

The publisher’s announcement reads: 「《毒舌大狀》的導演吳煒倫及編劇林偉文會親臨「大南天梯」」 — director 吳煒倫 and screenwriter 林偉文 speaking in person, and signing copies afterwards.
